Using iDIN or itsme, customers can easily confirm their identity online because they have already provided the necessary proof of identity when opening a bank account or activating their itsme-app.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>There are several types of identity service providers:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"red-arrows\">\n<li>As an issuer, you offer your customers the possibility of identifying themselves online with iDIN or itsme.<\/li>\n<li>As an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idin.nl\/en\/businesses\/acquirers-and-disps\/\">acquirer<\/a>, you are the contracting party for a merchant and you offer your business customers the option of integrating iDIN or itsme on their website or app. As an identity service provider, you can offer various types of agreements to these organisations and provide the merchant with information regarding the costs and (technical) options to implement iDIN or itsme.<\/li>\n<li>As a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idin.nl\/en\/businesses\/acquirers-and-disps\/\">Digital Identity Service Provider (DISP)<\/a>, you offer your business customers the option of integrating iDIN or itsme on their website. Just as in the case of the Acquirer role, you are the contracting party for a merchant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To perform the role of an issuer or acquirer, you must obtain a Licence Agreement.
